UpgradeMr Laiyemo is a consultant gynaecologist who has been working with One Health since 2024. He is a seasoned professional in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with over 20 years of experience. Appointed as a Consultant in 2013, they have a special interest in Laparoscopic surgery and medical education. Their training is extensive in Minimal Access Surgery, General and High Risk Obstetrics, and Labour Ward Management. They are skilled in various surgical procedures including Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (TLH), Laparoscopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy (LAVH), and Laparoscopic Myomectomy.
Currently, they serve as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, providing intra-partum care and emergency gynaecology services at Sherwood Forest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. They are also responsible for acute Gynaecology referrals, theatre sessions, and Gynaecology Outpatients Clinics.
As an accredited hysteroscopist, they independently perform hysteroscopic evaluations and treatments. They apply a minimal risk approach in their practice, prioritising patient safety. Recently, they completed the Bond Solon & Cardiff University Training Course for Expert Witnesses.
