Joe Daniels

Mr. Joe Daniels qualified in medicine in 1988. He then went on to work in the West Indies for three years. He has been a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists since 1997, a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland since 1999, and received his Certificate of Specialist Training in 2003. He has been on the UK General Medical Council Specialist Register since then. He has worked as a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology within the NHS since 2003, as well as having his own private practice. His special interest is in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction, including Female Genital Enhancement Cosmetic Surgery.

Mr. Daniels is a substantive NHS Consultant Gynaecologist, who began his substantive position at Scunthorpe General Hospital in 2004, where he led Urogynaecology services and also practiced Aesthetic Gynaecology from the Lindsey Suite private wing. He now carries out his NHS work mainly at the Airedale General Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He also supports service provision at the Mid-Yorkshire NHS (Pinderfields) Hospitals and Regents Specialist Clinics, Leeds. He consults privately in Leeds, Manchester, and London at the Harley Street enclave. He regularly attends professional courses and meetings. His research interest involves Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Female Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, and he has presented and published in this area. He was a College Tutor for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and previously a Medical Appraiser for Consultants at his NHS Trust.
