Moiad is deeply committed to education, innovation, and research. He actively participates in international collaborative studies and has published extensively in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He acts as editor for a number of scientific journals. His expertise is frequently sought after at national and international conferences, where he is a regular speaker.
Moiad is a recognised expert in complex gynaecological surgeries,including ultraradical surgery for ovarian cancer, placenta accreta spectrumsurgery, and advanced minimal access surgery. He has a particular interest inmicrosurgery and fertility-preserving surgical techniques.
Qualifications & Fellowships
Moiad served as a senior council member for the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE), the British & Irish Association for Robotic Surgeons (BIARGS) and RCOG NICE representative. In these roles, he chaired the BSGE guidelines committee and co-authored the Green-top Guidelines on endometrial hyperplasia.
Founder of GynaeFellow
He is the founder of “GynaeFellow” (www.gynaefellow.com),a comprehensive educational platform that offers high-quality medical and surgical training. Additionally, he initiated the Middle East & North Africa Placenta Accreta Spectrum Summit (MENA PAS), a significant educational event aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of medical professionals inthe region. This summit includes a variety of educational activities such as live surgery demonstrations, hands-on sessions, and expert panel discussions featuring international specialists.
