Since its inception, One Health has supported several local and national charitable organisations and junior sport initiatives through sponsorship and fundraising efforts.
In previous years we have supported: Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Weston Park Cancer Charity, Support Dogs, the Nick Matthew Squash Academy, Hallam Rangers FC and Roundabout.
We wanted to come up with a plan to support local people and organisations in the simplest way possible, so in the summer of 2022 we launched ‘The Sheffield 1000 Charity’.
The concept is simple... we’re aiming to get 1000 people donating £1 each week. The money would be used to support local charities and good causes with a £1000 donation every week of the year.
We know that Sheffielders have big hearts and are always keen to help and support each other. Now is a great time to do that in a really simple and effective way.

Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust is one of only three dedicated children’s hospital trusts in the UK and provides integrated healthcare for children and young people, including community and mental health care as well as acute and specialist services. Roundabout supports over 350 young people aged 16-25 every day. Alongside providing emergency accommodation in their hostel, they support young people in residential projects in Sheffield and Rotherham and provide key services delivering comprehensive programmes of training, involvement and empowerment to help to prepare young people for independent living.
