UpgradeOne Health Group is delighted to be once again helping to light up Sheffield Children’s Hospital this Christmas by sponsoring a Snowflake to raise funds to help build a brand new wing at the Hospital.
The annual twinkling display of sparkling snowflakes is much-anticipated by hospital patients, staff and members of the public alike and the One Health Group have been a long standing supporter of the event. This year sees more than 250 sponsored snowflakes illuminating the Western Bank hospital over the festive period.
One Health Group, provider of NHS treatment through NHS e-Referral, will be joining companies from across the region who have all sponsored a snowflake and have collectively raised more than £70,000 for The Children’s Hospital Charity’s Make it Better appeal.
The appeal, launched in 2012, urgently needs funds to build a brand new wing at the hospital complete with three new wards with mostly private rooms, a spacious new outpatients department, outdoor gardens and space to play.
Tchad Western, corporate partnerships manager at The Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “Every year we are blown away by the generosity of businesses who pledge their support for our patients and staff by sponsoring one of these snowflakes. Last year, more money than ever before has been raised to help bring world-class facilities to our hospital – meaning patients from all over the country can get better in comfort.”
One Health Group utilises specialist consultants and healthcare managers working together to provide the best possible diagnosis and treatment for our patients.
