UpgradeWe are incredibly proud of our our very own Katie Hodkin who has raised more than £500 for a local charity by completing a terrifying skydive.
Katie, who works as Accounts Supervisor at the One Health Group head office in Sheffield, jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet in order to raise funds for Sheffield Hospital’s Charity.
Katie and her Husband have been long standing supporters of the charity and undertook the sky dive in Lincolnshire last month.
Said Katie: “Doing a skydive had always been something that I wanted to do and when my husband did one last year it made me want to challenge myself even more to do it.
“Because I knew I would be putting myself through such a challenge I wanted a to ensure that a charity benefitted and the Sheffield Hospital’s Charity is a very worthwhile cause. It is great to support a charity that does so much for the hospitals throughout the City and to be able to give something back.
“I am delighted to have raised £565 so far and that has made the whole experience very worthwhile.
