UpgradeNanette is a highly experienced and qualified Upper Limb Extended Scope Physiotherapist, with over 20 years of experience working in the NHS. She is specialised in providing a high level of expertise in the management of routine and complex upper limb musculoskeletal conditions.
She has completed a BSc (with Honours) in Physiotherapy in 2002, then Master's Degree in Advancing Physiotherapy in 2015. She is registered under the HCPC, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and an active member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
Nanette was awarded the British Elbow and Shoulder Society’s travelling fellowship in 2015 which gave her the opportunity to visit the Mayo clinic in the USA and leading London hospitals.
She has a special interest in the assessment and management of shoulder instability (both structural and non-structural) in both adults and children, and has spoken locally, regionally and nationally on the subject. She has also contributed to research papers and co-authored a chapter in a published Textbook on the shoulder and elbow.
Alongside her part time MSK work, based primarily at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in Derbyshire, Nanette is also clinical Team Lead for the First Contact Practitioner service in Sheffield and is Shoulder and elbow Clinical Lead for the White House Physiotherapy Team, affiliated with Physio Net. She is highly regarded as one of the region’s most experienced Shoulder physiotherapists.
