UpgradeShantanu has worked with One Health as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2005. He was appointed Medical Director in July 2019, and later Chief Medical Officer in 2024. He is a key part of our Senior Management Team. Shantanu brings a genuine passion for developing and promoting clinical leadership to enhance patient care. He has board responsibility for Clinical Governance and Quality and heads up the One Health Group’s Clinical Governance Team, leading the delivery of high-quality clinical care for all our patients.
Shantanu also leads the strategic transformation of our healthcare provision through partnerships within and across our established Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Physiotherapists, Clinic, and Hospital Partners. He plays a key role in promoting and supporting quality improvement across the organisation and enjoys the challenges and balance between medical leadership and clinical duties.
